The
State Civil Services examinations and recruitment are conducted by the individual states public service commissions in India. These services are feeder services of All India Services. All appointments to State Services (Group A) are made by the Governors of States The state civil services (Group B) deal with subjects such as land revenue, agriculture, forests, education, etc. The officers are recruited by different States through the respective State Public Service Commissions, and appointed by the Governor of that state

MPPSC Eligibility Criteria – Qualification, Age Limit, Special Conditions
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) sets the eligibility criteria for various exams conducted by it. Check below the MPPSC age limit 2021, educational qualification and eligibility related criteria for the State Service Exam 2021 and others.
The MPPSC (State Service Exam) is conducted in three stages (similar to the IAS exam):
MPPSC Eligibility
The MPPSC Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Male candidates with more than one wife (living) are not eligible
- Female candidates who have married a person already having a wife (living) are not eligible.
- Candidates claiming age relaxation/reservation in more than one category for the MP PSC Exam shall be entitled to only one concession, whichever is more beneficial.

MPPSC Age Limit
The age limit for MP PSC State Service Exam 2021 for General and Reserved Categories:
- Minimum age – 21 years
- Maximum age – 40 years (For permanent residents of MP) and 30 years (For others)

Qualification for MPPSC
The educational qualification for the PSC exam is:
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University or equivalent qualification
- Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications, which are recognized by the State Government as equivalent to a professional or technical degree
The PSC exam eligibility also includes Physical Measurements/Fitness for certain posts. Candidates have to undergo a medical test after the interview to be considered eligible.
